two-mouthed sword

Our spiritual armor is described in Ephesians 6:10-18.
Ephesians 6:17 (New Living Translation)

Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

"The last piece of armor is actually the one weapon we possess to strike back at the enemy: God's sword. This represents the words He has breathed that we agree with and speak out of our mouths. In fact, in the original language of the Bible it is called a 'two-mouthed' sword, because when we take the words God has spoken out of His mouth and speak them out of our mouth in agreement and faith, the result of both working together forms a powerful weapon."

Hebrews 4:12 (New Living Translation)

12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
